The Alfa Romeo SZ is a limited production high performance sports car manufactured by Alfa Romeo Automobiles in between the years 1989-1991.

The Alfa Romeo SZ was first displayed at the “Geneva Motor Show” in the year 1989. It was designed by Robert Opron, a French automotive designer and the interiors have been designed by Antonio Castellana. The entire car was built based on Alfa Romeo 75, the suspensions were modified and a hydraulic damper system has been introduced and the wheels have been covered with Pirelli P Zero tires. It consisted of a 3.0 V6 engine with a capacity of 2959 cc that delivered an output power of 207 hp at 6200 rpm and 181 lb-ft torque at 4500 rpm. The number of units manufactured in the Alfa Romeo SZ series is about 1036.

Alfa Romeo RZ
The Alfa Romeo RZ version has been launched in the year 1992 with red, yellow and black colors. A total of 284 units have been manufactured, all these cars consisted of the same 3.0 V6 engine which was used in Alfa Romeo SZ with a capacity of 2959 cc that delivered an output power of 207 hp at 6200 rpm and 181 lb-ft torque at 4500 rpm.
The Alfa Romeo SZ can also be seen in the movie “Ghost in the Shell” and “Super Cars II” game.
